What is Brick.ie?
Brick.ie is an association of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) in Ireland, established in 2008.
Our members connect through our online forum to discuss all aspects of the LEGO hobby, and we also meet regularly in person. In addition, we organise and participate in public events where we showcase our creations and share our passion with a wider audience.
Our Aims and Objectives
- Provide a welcoming forum for Adult fans of LEGO in Ireland
- Promote LEGO as a creative and engaging hobby
- Raise awareness of the LEGO-building community in Ireland
- Organise member meet-ups and public exhibitions of members’ work
- Foster connections among Irish LEGO fans, with international fan groups, and with the LEGO Group
Who Can Join?
Brick.ie is a community for Adult Fans of LEGO, so membership is open to individuals aged 18 and over.
We welcome anyone with an interest in LEGO - whether you enjoy building official sets, creating your own designs (physically or digitally), or collecting. While our primary focus is on those living on the island of Ireland, we are pleased to include members from further afield.
How to Join
Becoming a member involves two simple steps:
- Create an account on our website (link available on the homepage).
- Introduce yourself with a short post on the forum. Once your account has been verified, you will gain access to members-only areas.
What We Expect from Members
There are no formal obligations - no membership fees and no requirement to attend events.
However, we encourage members to get involved where possible, whether by participating in forum discussions, attending meet-ups, or exhibiting creations at events. When taking part, members are expected to follow our Code of Conduct, which outlines acceptable behaviour.
In short: treat others with respect and act within the law.

How is brick.ie organised?
Brick.ie is not an incorporated entity. The brick.ie website, events and other activities are organised and run by volunteers. We have an admin team of five members who look after the website, forum and social media. One of the admins is our ambassador David Fennell, who is brick.ie's liaison with the LEGO Group and our primary PR person.
